Enzo Racing Technica 54mm Reduced Volume Bladder Cap – KYB Shock – Blue – ER-BC54RC-BL

The Enzo Racing Technica Reduced Volume Bladder Cap replaces the standard bladder cap in 54mm KYB rear shock reservoirs.

From the 2018 YZ450F and 2019 YZ250F, Yamaha changed the rear linkage and fitted a shorter-stroke shock with stronger springs and damping. These models also have a much larger gas bladder volume. The larger volume limits pressure build-up, but it also reduces the progressive spring effect of the nitrogen chamber at the end of the stroke.

Enzo’s cap reduces the volume of the gas chamber. This makes the end-of-stroke force stronger, improves bottoming resistance, and better matches the shock to the rear linkage. The cap also replaces the needle-type gas fill with a Schrader valve, so the shock is charged through a standard Schrader-type nitrogen fitting.
