Genuine KYB Factory Kit shock piston rod with bottom end (KYB part 160350013601) for the KYB rear shock fitted to the Yamaha YZ450F. The shaft is coated with Diamond-Like Carbon (DLC), the same low-friction, high-hardness finish used on KYB Factory Kit shocks. The coating reduces seal friction for a more responsive shock and resists scratching and wear.
This assembly comes with the bottom end (clevis) already fitted, so it’s a complete replacement for the stock shaft and clevis rather than a bare rod. Price is for one assembly. Fitting requires a full shock rebuild and nitrogen charge and should be carried out by a suspension technician.
